Katherine Freas

FREAS, Katherine, 99, of Pinellas Park, passed away January 27, 2016. She was born in Tennessee. In 1956 the family moved to Tampa. She later settled in Pinellas County. Katherine was an exceptional seamstress. She loved sewing for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, growing bright beautiful flowers, making quilts, babysitting the grandkids and later great grandkids, as well as playing games with them. They still brag on her famous country breakfast with fried potatoes and her chicken and dumplings. She especially loved her independence. She married the love of her life, Archie in 1937 and in 1973 he preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters, Betty Rodriguez (Tony), Linda Blick (Lee) and Martha Kroll (Tom); five (5) grandchildren, Malissa Cueto, Christine Cox-Jude, Karen Cox, John Cox, and Darren Rodriguez; eight (8) great grandchildren, Rachel, Carlos, Victor, and Cristian LaLuz; Silas and Phineas Jude; Daniella Rodriguez; Sophia Cox; three (3) great great grandchildren, Antonio, Ariyana, Andrew Davis. Her wonderful sense of humor and her special way of making the world seem so positive, no matter the circumstances, made her very special and unique. We love you Memaw, until we see you again.
