Katherine Whitman - Adkins

Katherine Whitman Adkins, 43 , of Gloversville, New York passed away suddenly on Tuesday September 13, 2022. She was born on November 2, 1978 to Mr. Ronald Whitman and Mrs. Beth Kichton Whitman of Gloversville. Katherine attended local schools graduating from Mayfield High School, the class of 1997. She attended Fulton Montgomery Community College for a time and worked at several local businesses. She eventually became a Certified Nursing Assistant and was employed by Nathan Littauer Hospital. Katherine is survived by her sons Anthony Whitman (Sheyenne Cook), and David Luck, daughter Shyanna Kichton, mother Beth Kichton Whitman of Mayfield and father Ronald Whitman of Gloversville, brother Jason Whitman (Joanna), beloved grandmother Joann Kichton, and grandson Nolan Whitman, as well as her nephew and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandmother Katherine Balles. A Calling Hour will take place on Monday September 26, 2022 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at Walrath and Stewart Funeral Home 51 Fremont St, Gloversville NY 12078. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Monday September 26, 2022 at 1:00PM at Walrath and Stewart Funeral Home immediately following the calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a local food pantry of your choice.
