None Kathie Mueller a lifelong resident of Olympia, WA, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008 of Colon Cancer. Kathie was born October 5, 1941 in Olympia, WA to Stanley and Marie Brown. She graduated from Olympia High School in 1959, and married Werner Mueller the following June 25, 1960. The Mueller’s have 3 children; a son Stan Mueller; and two daughters, Renatte Conway and Cindy Dixon; and 6 grandchildren, Carissa, Shelby, Erik, Annika, Will and Tyler.Kathie worked as an Administrative Assistant for the State of Washington Department of Health, retiring in 2001 with 22 years of State service. She started out working for Employment Security right after High School and also spent several years in Emergency Services. When not working, Kathie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Werner, her children, grandchildren, her mother Marie Brown; 2 sisters Carla Mendenhall and Margaret McAninch. She was preceded in death by her father Stanley Brown. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Mills and Mills Memorial Park in Tumwater. Immediately following the graveside, please join the family for a Celebration of Kathie’s Life at the Black Lake Grange Hall in Olympia.
