Kathleen Phyllis Besser
April 1st, 1949 - November 14th, 2022
"Kathleen Besser 73, of Tucson, AZ passed away on November 14, 2022 at home surrounded by her loved ones there and those in spirit. She grew up in Buffalo, NY and often traveled snowbird style back and forth from NY to her second home in Tucson. Her true love besides her family was her passion for seeing the United States. She loved to travel across country several times a year visiting all her favorite souvenir shops and casinos. It is said she visited almost all of the 50 states during her time here on earth. She had a love of reading Mystery novels and carried at least one book with her at all times. Old western movies, especially the ones starring John Wayne were her favorite. If you want to watch something close to her heart watch the musical play write Singing in the rain or Oklahoma. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Allen Besser, mother and father Ruth and Fay Myers, sister Karen Pupera, and niece Linda Golden. She was survived in death by her daughter Jennifer (Marcus) Milligan, her granddaughter Claire (Daniel) McConnell, her sister Mary (Louis) Heintz, brother Fay Gary Myers; nieces Dawn (Jamie) Jackson, Cynthia (Kevin) Pittman, Rebecca Heintz, Jamie Myers and Danielle Myers; nephews Jimmy Pupera and Jason (Andrea) Kaylor; many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews."
