Kathleen Rae Anders Carter

Kathleen Rae Anders Carter, age 63, of Weiser joined her heavenly family in Boise on Monday July 13, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 24 at 11:00 am at the Ontario First Church of the Nazarene, 1131 Alameda Drive, Ontario, OR. Kathleen was born in Salinas, California on September 24, 1951; attending local schools and graduating from North Salinas High School in 1969. She was on the North Salinas High School cheerleading squad and was Salinas Junior Miss in 1969. Kathleen earned her Registered Dental Assistant designation in 1974. She was employed at The Hartnell Foundation in Salinas, CA and was most recently a Realtor in ID. Kathleen was active at the Ontario First Church of the Nazarene and on the Board of Directors for the annual National Old Time Fiddle Contest in Weiser, ID. She was a devoted and active mother and grandmother, attending many activities and events her family was involved with. Kathy was a talented artist in many media: oil, painting, sewing, cake decorating, knitting and gardening. She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. Her warmth and caring personality made an impact on everyone she met. Both the Idaho and California communities in which she was actively involved will dearly miss her. Kathleen is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ron Carter of the family home; her son, Sean (Chris) Carter of Fruitland, ID; granddaughters, Katelynn and Karissa Carter, her father, Wilburn Anders of Salinas, CA; sisters, Karen Anders Cole and Kim Anders---Burgess of California; nieces and nephews and many cousins throughout the country.
