Kathleen F. Frigard

FRIGARD, Kathleen “Kathi”, 68 of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. She was born in Dorchester , Massachusetts, but raised in Needham, Massachusetts. Kathleen married Mike in 1980 and they lived in Marblehead MA, spending summers living on their boat and winters ski racing in North Conway, New Hampshire. She was a New England sports fan and enjoyed sailing. Kathleen was always in charge of the holiday table scape because she was so crafty and creative. She especially loved a cold Miller Lite beer and spending time with family and friends. Kathleen is preceded in death by her father, James Fitzgerald; twin sister, Maureen Cleri; and younger sister, Barbara Mermin. She is survived by her loving husband, of 37 years, Mike; her mother, Claire Fitzgerald; three sisters, Joan Giordano and her husband, Ed, Nancy Fitzgerald, and Patti Mahan. She is also survived by her step children Heather Lizotte and her husband Jay; Steve Frigard and his wife, Maggie and their children, Halley and Victoria Lizotte and Teddy Frigard; and many loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place from 9:00a.m. to 10:00am on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O Lakes Blvd. Land O Lakes, FL 34639. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kathi's name to the University of New Hampshire, for the George 'Mike' Frigard '60 Athletic Scholarship, Elliott Alumni Center, 9 Edgewood Road, Durham, NH 03824. Internment will take place at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hywy, Boscawen, NH, followed by a Celebration of Kathi's life.
