Kathleen "Kay" Gagne

Kathleen "Kay" Gagne, 78, of St. Petersburg, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2015. Kathleen was born in Glace Bay, N.S., Canada to Sarah and Frank Black on April 7, 1936. She moved to MA in 1954, where she became a U.S. Citizen and lived for over 25 years, before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1980 with her husband and family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard of 55 years; daughter, Susan George; grandson Patrick McAnally; granddaughter, Amber and husband Craig Adams, great-grandson, Harrison Adams; son, Richard Gagne; daughter, Kathleen and husband Doug Cross; daughter Laurie Rudorf, grandson, Cory Rudorf; daughter Donna and husband Ron Gleason; granddaughter, Christina Gleason; son Daniel Gagne; granddaughter, Emma Gagne, and grandsons, Ryan and Carson Gagne; sisters, Margaret Sloat, Paula Powers, Anne Kaiser, Patricia Castaldini and brothers Joseph Black, John Black and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kay loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed the beach, baseball,watching old movies, and playing bingo. A private celebration of Kay's Life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to Lymphoma Society (LLS.org) or Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater FL 33760.
