Kathleen Leggett, 75, from Melbourne Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Liverpool, England, Kathleen relocated to the United States after getting married. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Mary Thompson, brother James Thompson and beloved husband James Leggett. She is survived by sons Richard (Jennifer) Gentry and Sean (Rebecca) Gentry; grandchildren Brian, Erin and Sarah Gentry as well as Beck and Keagan Oda and Juliana and Ian Leggett. Step children include James (Silvia) Leggett and Nicole (Jason) Oda. Her surviving siblings are Eileen (Billy) Hunter", Peggy (Ken) "Headon", Patrick (Jean) Thompson, Maureen (Bernard) Toohey, Joan (Patrick) Riozzi, and Ann (Stephan) Case as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Additionally, Kathleen leaves behind her beloved Boston Terrier Scooney. Services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Beach Funeral Home East, 1689 South Patrick Dr., Indian Harbour Beach, Florida 32937 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
