. KATHLEEN B. “KATHY” MYERS Kathleen B. Myers, born October 24, 1938 in Yakima, Washington, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 16, 2006 in Olympia after a courageous one year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s) disease. Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Dale Myers, three children and three grandchildren. Her children include sons, David Myers and Ricky Myers, also daughter, Diane Vernon. Her grandchildren are Jonathan, Jessica and Joshua. Kathy was a loving mother and wife. She loved life and gave so much to others. In her spare time, Kathy loved to paint, play piano and bowl. A funeral service to celebrate Kathy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the Masonic Center, 521 North Street SE, Tumwater 98501. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kathleen Myers to the ALS Evergreen Chapter, 19110 66th Ave. S. #G101, Kent, WA 98032.
