Kathleen Lane Russell, age 82 of Scott County, VA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Kathleen was born on February 16, 1942, in Scott County, VA to Edmond and Mattie Clark. Kathleen worked as a seamstress for many years at a local sewing factory.
Kathleen loved her family, and she took pride in taking care of them. She loved the simple things in life, and she found peace in sewing and gardening.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Scott Lane; three brothers, Clint Clark, Robert Clark, and Arnold Clark; and three sisters, Carol Gray, Joan Watson and Bridget Cunningham. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Charlene Elliott, and Pennie Lane; son, Eddie Lane; and many special grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kathleen was laid to rest at Holston View Cemetery on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
