Kathleen D. Yearick, 76, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at her home in Seminole, FL of causes related to Rheumatoid Arthritis. "Kay" was born in Columbus, OH, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Creaglow. Kay was a highly regarded pioneer in the art licensing industry having founded Art Makers International in 1982, one of the original art licensing agencies. Kay had a passion for architecture and interior design. She won a Commercial Specialty Award for her vision in remodeling a residential home into office space for her company in St. Petersburg, FL. She also loved making and gifting beaded jewelry. The magazine Bead & Button featured one of her intricate necklaces in a two-page photo spread. Kay was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, Scientist, giving much of her time to the church in many capacities including service as Reader, Board Member and President of the 2nd Church of Christ Scientist, St. Petersburg, FL. Kay was always quick to laugh and share a kind word with everyone she met. She is survived and sadly missed by her daughter Leslie Brewin and her husband Deane of St. Pete Beach, FL; her son Mark Yearick and his wife Fran of Hillsborough, NJ; her son Jim Yearick and his wife Loreen; and her grandchildren Lydia and Will (to Jim & Loreen) of Plymouth, MN. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Richardson, of Hilliard, OH and her former husband Roland "Rick" Yearick of Tierre Verde, FL. Her loving family will be holding a private memorial. David C.
