Obituary Kathryn Painter Steinberg Brown passed away on January 5th with family at her bedside. Kathryn was born in Portland, and attended Catholic schools including the University Of Portland. She worked for 21 years at the Portland Fire Bureau, starting as an Administrative Assistant and working her way up to Financial Analyst. Kathryn's husband Ron is a pharmacoeconomist at the Veterans Affairs Hospital. Ron and Kathryn were fortunate to travel to France for their honeymoon, as Kathryn has been a Francophile since high school French classes.
