Kathryn Stout

Kathryn ?Katie? Stout Katie died Friday, May 8, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born September 26, 2003, a daughter of Thomas Tyler and Marian Johnson Stout of Charlotte, NC. For five remarkable years she brought immense joy to everyone she met. She adored her big sister Sarah Jane Stout and had a great love of creation and of watching growing things and flying birds. Katie had a fearless character that engages and amazed us all. Her face radiated sunshine and her eyes disappeared when she smiled. Katie has forever inspired us to live boldly, loving one another. Surviving in addition to her parents and sister are her Paternal grandparents Eldon and Connie Stout, Maternal grandmother, Frances Glenn all of Charlotte, NC and maternal grandfather, Chuck Johnson of Hillsborough, NC; Uncles, Bob Johnson and his wife, Ginger of Monroe, NC and Dan Stout and his wife, Kim of Hickory, NC; Aunts, Sarah Haw and her husband, John of Cary, NC and Jane Johnson of Charlotte, NC and cousins David, Sam, Caroline Henry Owen and Ruth Ann. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 11, at Avondale Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. John Earl officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the MacLean Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be made to Avondale Presbyterian Church, 2821 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28209.
