Kathy M. Lopez
October 24th, 1962 - July 4th, 2024
Kathy M. Lopez, age 61 passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Kathy was born in Tucson, Arizona on October 24th, 1962, to Alfonso Trinidad and Norma Trinidad. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma, and nephews, Philip and Alfonso (Fonzi).
Kathy enjoyed her time working with animals, spending time with her son, Ralphie, and taking care of nieces and nephews. She was a great mother whose strength and courage came from praying. Kathy was a loving wife and a perfect soulmate. She also devoted her time to taking care of her mother and father. She was always there for her sisters and brothers when they needed her help and her family could count on her for anything. She was an open-hearted person and a great friend. Throughout her life, she was a nurturing, strong, smart, selfless, hopeful, honest, and caring woman. Her laughs would brighten up the room on the darkest days. She was so funny and her wise cracks kept us smiling. She was the youngest sister of seven children and there were many good memories of her and her siblings growing up together.
Kathy also loved watching numerous TV shows and movies, some of her favorites were Star Wars and Studio Ghibli films. She loved Legend of Zelda and video games. Her favorite music was rock music, bands such as Led Zeppelin were her favorite. She enjoyed puzzle night with her sisters and crafting. She was our family pet clinic, daycare, and comedian.
Her family will miss her dearly, she was truly an angel here on Earth. We will miss your beautiful smile, Mac and Cheese, Beef Mac, and all the delicious food you made us. Our memories of you will be forever in our hearts.
In addition to her father, Alfonso Trinidad, Kathy is survived by her husband, Ralph Lopez, and her son, Ralph Lopez, two brothers, Philip (Paula) and Alfonso (Edna), four sisters, Michele (Richard), Grace (Peter), Christine (Steve), and Norma (Eugene), nieces and nephews, Rich, Jennifer, Tani, Joseph, Jessica, Cristina, Anthony, Marcos, Michael, Catherine, Bernadette, Emily, and Bernardo, and many great nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
