Kathy D. Taylor, 71, of West Columbia, SC passed away on October 6, 2022. The family will receive friends at City of Hope Worship Center, 1403 D Avenue, West Columbia, SC, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow. Kathy was born April 6, 1951 in Newberry, SC, to the late Albert Thompson and Ruth Chastain Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Taylor; children, Stanley Crumpton of West Columbia, daughter, Jamie Howell (Tim) of Marshall, MI, Crissie Taylor of Gaston; sister, Teresa Atkins (Roger); brother, Timothy Thompson; grandchildren, Taylor Collier (Tristan), Dustin Crumpton, Hayden McClelland, Haylee McClelland; great grandson, Braxton Crumpton. Kathy loved her family with all her heart and enjoyed the simple things in life – especially traveling to the mountains, deer hunting, and fishing.
