Katie gained her wings and joined Gods army on February 27,2019 Katie is loved by many people she had a heart of gold and she was a loving wife, mother. Grandmother, great grandmother. Katie was the strength of the family and kept the family together the backbone of the family Katie loved to be home she was the best cook ever she also loved her husband Philip and all her kids and grandchildren she was the definition of a noble woman and wife. Stuck through not only the good times but more so even the hard times Katie so loved the lord. Katie will be miss by many. Katie is preceded in death by her parents Flora and Mariano Benavidez also her daughter Joann Montoya and her brothers and grandson Nathan Montoya. Katie is survived by, her loving husband Philip Montoya, daughters Sharon and husband Damon, daughter Flora Montoya, Son Carlos Benavidez, son David Chavez, son Joseph Chavez and wife Karen Kelly. Sister Sally Amador, Sister Rosemary Hernandez, sister Jeanette Astorga, sister Corinna Dines. Katie also has many grandchildren Jude Rivera, Matthew Montoya and his children Olivia Montoya and Quaylo Montoya, Desiree Dinkle, Cassandra Baca and her children Lucas, Amonique, and Derrick Baca, Danny Baca, Christopher, Baca, Eva Benavidez, Joe Chavez Jr. Lorena Dimas and her daughter Nallely. Great grandchildren, Jaden Montoya, Nallely Zorida Angel Cavalier, Katie is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins, she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
