Katie Mae Tucker

TUCKER, Katie Mae, 93, went to meet our Lord on February 6, 2009. The daughter of Jesse Pryor and Nancy Irene Jones was born on June 16, 1915, in Climax, Georgia and moved to Fort Myers, Florida at the age of three and to Land O’ Lakes in 1984. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tucker and her loving son, Joe Stein. She is survived by her loving family; nieces, Irene Roach and husband Bill, of Land O’ Lakes, FL; Glenda Daniels, of Ft. Myers, FL; Carol Jean Ragsdale; Judy Cox and husband Jullian of Lakeland, FL; Connie Carlson, of Ft. Myers, FL; Janelle Cook and husband Steve, of Ft. Myers, FL and Janice Stritter and husband Bruce of Birmingham, AL; great nieces and nephews, Kimberly Saavedra, Wendy Neal, Becky Decker, Cindy Delessio, Andy Walker, Mike, Dennis, and Douglas Ragsdale and Brenda Stewart; her devoted caregiver, Sherri Edmisten; and many great, great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Monday, February 9th at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa.
