Kay Lynn Gano

October 31st, 1951 - June 2nd, 2024

Kay Lynn (Davis) Gano, 72 of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 in home hospice from an extended illness that resulted in Alzheimer's Dementia.

 

Born on October 31, 1951 to Orville and Mabel Dooley in Taylorville, Illinois, she went on to earn a Master's Degree in Education and taught school for 42 years, mastered the piano, and served with Stephen Davis (first husband) as missionaries to Bolivia and Mexico where she became fluent in Spanish.

 

Kay trusted The Lord Jesus Christ as her savior early in life and served Him faithfully until she met Him face to face on the Lord’s Day. She led many to Christ in her lifetime.

Kay was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen Davis; her parents; sister; and three brothers.

 

She is survived by her husband, Joe Gano; son Seth Davis; daughters Stephanie Brown and Dianna Pelay and their spouses; stepsons Jonathan and Jeremy Gano; stepdaughter Sarah Lane and their spouses; and 13 grandchildren.
