Kay Patricia Kagey
March 17th, 1932 - April 19th, 2013
Kay Patricia Kagey was born in 1932 in California. She went home to her Lord Jesus on April 19, 2013, surrounded by her husband, children, and many who love her. We are sad, but know that she was ready to leave her pain and failing body behind. As a child and the youngest of four sisters, she was a self-described brat, sneaking animals home and spying on her sisters and their boyfriends. At 23, she married Gould Morehouse, with whom she had three children and much happiness, until his death in 1978. She was one of very few people who could truly say that she had two loving marriages; she married Marlin Kagey in 1997, and they loved one another dearly. How we miss her forthright way of speaking (some might even say blunt), her delight in her grandchildren, her pretty face, and her vibrant and enduring faith in Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband, Marlin, of Edmonds, Washington; also daughters Patty Holtgeerts (Steve) of Everett, Karen Schofield (Tom) of Edmonds, and son Dave Morehouse of Edmonds. She also leaves grandchildren Erin Christensen (Brian), Sara Davis (Caleb), Allyson Schofield, Tommy Schofield, Caroline Holtgeerts, and Becca Holtgeerts.Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Thy book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. Psalm 139:16
