It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of our beloved Kayla. Kayla Wellbaum, age 14, passed away on April 15, 2021 at her family home in Loveland, Colorado. Kayla was born on January 1, 2007 to parents William Wellbaum and Amanda Guyton. A beautiful loving teen, Kayla was known by friends and family to be smart, funny and caring. Kayla was a talented artist with a passion for drawing. She enjoyed school, reading, art and spending time with friends and family. Kayla was a student in the Thompson School District, attending Lincoln, Bill Reed and most recently Thompson Connect Online. Kayla is survived by her parents William and Sarah Wellbaum, Amanda Guyton; sisters Annabelle, Zoe and October; brothers William and Maxwell; and a very large extended family. Private family services will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Loveland. Later this month, an open Celebration of Life will be held for all friends and family.
