October 12th, 1931 - May 30th, 2009
Keefer Jennings Whitman 77 of St. Petersburg passed away May 30, 2009. Born in Chapmanville West Virginia, Keefer was the retired owner of Logan Auto Parts, Inc. in Logan West Virginia. He was a member of Victory Church of the Nazarene, Kenneth City and proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War. Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years Betty Lou; loving children Mike (Brenda) Whitman and Denise (John) Makranyi; cherished grandchildren Melissa, Meghan, Erika, Scott, Nick; great-grandchildren Katelyn, Conner, Jacqueline; nieces Lori, Lisa and many other loving nieces, nephews and family. Funeral services will be 5:30PM Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Victory Church of the Nazarine, 4401 58th Street North, Kenneth City, where visitation will take place from 4:30PM thru service time. Burial will be Saturday in Pecks Mills, West Virginia. The family would appreciate memorials to Victory Church or Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. David C. Gross Funeral Homes is serving the family.
