February 23rd, 1989 - June 25th, 2018
KEELEY J. CORNWELL age 29, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Monday June 25, 2018 at her home in Madison. She was born on February 23, 1989 in Fort Atkinson to John and Donna (Zeh) Cornwell. Keeley attended Jefferson High School and received her GED from MATC in June of 2009. She also completed the Nursing Assistant Program. Keeley volunteered at the CAC - Community Action Coaltion of South Central Wisconsin Inc. where her sister is employed. She had a big heart and was always willing to help out when asked. She also was very artistic. She was employed in Madison cleaning houses or doing the cleanup following construction. Although Keeley struggled with drug addiction for a good part of her adult life she was making great strides in turning her life around. She was a free spirit that lived life the way she wanted. She died from complications from several infections. She will be deeply missed by the two loves of her life; her sons, Jayden and Jacksyn Ridgeman of Jefferson. Keeley is also survived by Chad Ridgeman, the father of her sons, her mother Donna Cornwell, her sister Carissa Cornwell, and her grandmother Ruth Zeh all of Jefferson. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Keeley is preceded in death by her father, John Cornwell; and grandparents Keith and Betty Cornwell and Robert Zeh. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and for all the prayers in the loss of a mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and good friend to so many. Special thank you to Gabe Gobeli for all his help. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday July 1, 2018 at the Schneider-Michaelis funeral home in Jefferson. A Celebration of Keeley’s life will follow at the American Legion Dugout in Fort Atkinson starting at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Keeley’s memory, to Jayden and Jacksyn’s college funds or to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
