Keith Charles Hayes October 9, 1960 – February 24, 2014 Keith Charles Hayes, 53, passed away in Molalla, Oregon on February 24, 2014. He was born in Portland, Oregon on October 9, 1960 to Robert C. and Elizabeth (Williams) Hayes. Keith graduated Colton High School, the class of “78”. While in high school he ran Cross Country, played football, and was also on the wrestling and track teams. Keith’s worked in the fishing industry in Alaska. When he returned to Molalla, Oregon he went to work for Meadowbrook Construction. He then went to work in the timber industry and was there until 2003. Keith then went to work for Kellogg Brown & Root Services Inc. (KBR). Keith worked for KBR from 2003 to 2010, while working for KBR, Keith then went to Fallujah, Iraq where he worked at the Al-Taqaddum Air Base in government operations as a heavy equipment operator. When Keith wasn’t hard at work he enjoyed hunting, fishing and older automobiles. Keith is survived by his step-father, Stan Watson of Yoder, Oregon; brothers, Robert and Scott; sisters, Dawn, Donna, and Elizabeth; nephews, Tom Jr., Zich, Dan, Brian, Calvin, and Tony Hayes; niece, Angela Knerr. Keith is preceded in death by his father, Bob C Hayes and mother, Betty Watson. A celebration of life will be held at the Senior Center (315 Kennel Ave, Molalla, Oregon 97038) on May 17, 2014 from 1pm to 4pm.
