Keith passed away March 11, 2020 at age 87. Keith was born in Deer Creek, Minnesota on April 6, 1932. After graduation from high school Keith served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Keith spent his working career with U.S. West telephone company. Keith and Sharon were married on June 26, 1976. Sharon had two children at this time. Keith and his first wife, Ellen, had four children, one son and three daughters. Keith enjoyed his 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Keith always was involved in church activities. As he grew in his relationship to the Lord he also grew in his desire to share Jesus. It was about 40 years ago at a discipleship class that he was introduced to the four spiritual laws tract and from that time frequently used it to share his love of Jesus with others. At just age 54 Keith took early retirement from U.S. West. After that time he and his wife spent the winters living in an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico where Keith continued to serve his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even after he was diagnosed with dementia he continued to share Jesus in many special ways as the Lord led him. Keith was preceded in death by his son Kevin Bee. He will be greatly missed by his wife Sharon; his four children and two step children and their families. We can rejoice in knowing one of Keith’s frequently quoted Bible verses at the time of a death was, “Absent from the body is present with the Lord!” Memorial Service Monday, March 16, 2020, 10:30 AM at First Evangelical Free Church, 2696 Hazelwood St., Maplewood, with visitation one hour prior to Service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The family has requested that any memorials can be given to The Salvation Army Adult Daycare Program, 2080 Woodlynn Ave., Maplewood, MN 55109.
