Keith R Owen
February 11th, 2022
Keith Robert Owen, “The Rhino”, Age 52, passed away Friday February 11th, 2022, in Petropolis, Brazil. Keith was a natural born entertainer and Martial Artist. He was a Pedro Sauer Fourth Degree Black Belt in Gracie Jiu- Jitsu, a Fourth Degree Black Belt in TAI Kung Fu and a Black Sash in Wu Wei Gung-Fu. Keith was an incredible husband to Shirlane of 30 years and a devoted dad to his three boys Alexander, Carrigan and Chance Owen. His love and dedication was also shown to every single student that came into his Martial Arts studio, Team Rhino Gracie Juli-jitsu, focusing on life skills to help the youth and adults in Meridian Idaho alike, grow and prosper. He never knew a stranger; he would talk to just about anyone and everyone. He was truly the most loyal people one could ever hope to know. He had a rare ability to be the kindest person you knew, tell it like he saw it, encourage you, and share his funny stories. Keith was a leader, a mentor, and a warrior, and his legacy lives on through his family and his many students. He will be sorely missed.
