KEITH EUGENE STREETER JR. A celebration of the life of Keith Streeter, 62, of Chico, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Bidwell Chapel, 341 W. 3rd St. in Chico. Keith passed away on April 27, 2012 in Chico. He was born on Sept 20, 1949 in Fukuoka, Kyshu, Japan to Keith Eugene Sr. and Bonnie Jean Griswold. Keith graduated high school in 1967 and received an AA degree in 1975 from Riverside City College. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1967-1971. In June of 1970, Keith married Christine Marie. Keith worked for the State of CA Dept. of Corrections for 31 years. He was a Master Mason with Lodge #149. In 1999, Keith received the Medal of Valor for saving two women in an automobile accident. Keith enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and playing poker. He is survived by his wife, Christine Streeter of Chico; daughters, Vicki (Rob) Koenig and Kacie Streeter; and 4 grandchildren, Derek, Mackyla, Khyana, and Presley; sisters, Beveley (Jim) Hurst and Penny (Chris) Herman. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in Keith's name to a favorite charity. Arrangements are under the direction of Brusie Funeral Home.
