Mr. Kelly Shane Boyd, age 46 a resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 in Lakeland due to an Automobile Accident. Mr. Boyd was born July 1, 1976 in Gainesville, Florida to Billy Eugene and Janice Regina (Gilmore) Boyd. He was a resident of Lakeland since 2020 coming from Branford, Florida. He graduated from Mayo High School Class of 1995. Kelly was a Server for several different restaurants’ (I Hop, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic, Taco Bell, Olive Garden which he was awarded the Best Server Commendation and he also worked at Paula Dean’s in Savannah, Georgia). He enjoyed music, reading, swimming and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his paternal & maternal grandparents and brother – Franklin Hales. Kelly is survived by his loving family, mother – Janice Boyd of Lakeland, Florida; father & stepmother – Billy & Diane Boyd of Branford, Florida; 2 sisters – Tracy Allegato and Gina Evans both of Lakeland, Florida; stepbrother – Robert Brand of Branford, Florida; 5 nephews – Jonathan, Tristian, Brian, Andrew and Derek; 4 nieces – Stacey, Taylor, Kristin and Hannah. There are no services scheduled for Kelly at this time
