Kelly Drew Kraus, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at his home in Greeley, Colorado,
Kelly was born September 3, 1964, to Larry and Darlene (Kerbel) Kraus in Greeley, CO.
He was raised in the Windsor/Eaton area and attended Windsor Schools. He received his certificate in auto mechanics and had his CDL license. On April 29, 1994, he married, Michelle Phillips. Throughout his life, Kelly worked in many fields - as a mechanic, crusher operator, lumber mill worker, copy machine technician, and property maintenance. Kelly enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with his family, and working on cars in his spare time.
Kelly is survived by his wife, Michelle his daughters, Brittany Kraus of Commerce City and Jennifer Kraus of Fort Collins; and his son, Dylan Kraus of Greeley. He is also survived by his sister, Shauna Stewart of Greeley; mother-in-law, Dixie Phillips; sister-in-law Stancie (Quentin) Zimmerman, several nieces, a nephew, and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Kraus; father, Larry Kraus; two brothers Monty and Marty Kraus; father-in-law, Ron Phillips; and his grandparents, Elenor and Larry Kerbel and Sy and Dolly Kraus.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a RoseLawn Cemetary 2718 East Mulberry St, Ft Collins, CO 80524 on Oct 23, 2024 at 1pm
