Kelly Rose Margolis 08.31.1991 ~ 06.21.2019 As Kelly approached the gates of heaven, it’s almost certain that she paused, “I’ll be there in about 10 minutes.” She checked her make-up, which was always perfectly applied, spritzed herself, because you can’t meet God, and not smell good, threw her head back, with her soul full of energy, smiled that perfectly sculpted smile and with Kelly’s typical energy, went through the gates of heaven. There she was met by her “Poppy” (Bert Margolis) and her Uncle/God-Father, Bob Margolis. Kelly is survived by her parents, Gary & Laura Margolis, her sister, Lauren (Brandon) Tumbleston, “Gramps” & “Grandma Chrissy” (Bernard & Lucille Bubnis), “Grandma Poppy” (Eunice Margolis), “Pop Pop” (Frank Lecause), her fur baby, Chanel (Nelly) and her turtle, Rufus… and her reason for waking up every morning, her heart & soul, Skylar & Jasen Tumbleston. “Who’s the best Auntie in the world?” More than anything, Kelly loved being an aunt. If there was ever a time to see her, genuinely happy, it was with her niece, her little best friend. She wore that “Auntie” crown like no other. Her beautiful smile, followed by her infectious laugh and giggle, would light up the darkest situation and her energy could be felt, even through a text. She was always on the go. So there is no second thought... she waltzed herself into heaven, with her “Auntie” crown sitting high, found the first set of yellow wings that wouldn’t hide any of her tattoos and is all over the place up there, too, jamming to old school r&b music and looking for a good artist to finish her sleeve... A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 1:30 - 3:33 PM at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, 281 Treeland Dr., Ladson, SC 29456.
