For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life... nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Messiah Jesus, our Lord.

Kendel Wray, born on July 12, 1956 and went peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father, with her family at her side, on July 25, 2024.  Kendel leaves behind a legacy of abundant life, love, and faith. Married to her High School sweetheart, she is survived by her husband, Michael Wray of 50 years, who was not only the love of her life but also her best friend. Kendel was the beloved mother of Mike Wray, Tony Wray, and Kyla Pauni. Her family extended through her cherished daughter-in-laws, Melissa Wray and Mahlodi Wray, and her son-in-law, Fauniteni Pauni. Kendel's heart was further blessed with her grandchildren: Summer, Cie'la, Samara, Kagiso, Naledi and Mikayla, who brought her endless joy and whom she adored greatly.

Kendel's life was marked by a zealous love for her family, and unwavering faith in God. Her beautiful and loving presence filled the lives of all who knew her. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Kendel's joy for life was evident in the warmth she brought to family gatherings, where she loved dancing,  playing games, singing songs, and simply cherishing moments with those she loved. Kendel was always the life of the party.

Kendel imparted the Lord's teachings to her family, instilling in them the values of faith and what it truly means to serve the Lord with all your heart. Her unwavering trust in God's plan was a guiding light for her loved ones, even in her final moments. Kendel was the epitome of a woman of God, full of grace and beauty, embodying the teachings of the Lord that she held dear throughout her life.

Kendel touched countless lives with her kindness, her joyful spirit, and her ability to bring light into any situation. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those she leaves behind. As her family, we are profoundly grateful for the time we had with her, and we cherish the lessons she imparted.

We love you, Mom. Your legacy of love and faith will live on in our hearts forever.  We will do our best to comfort one another, and your beloved husband, our Dad, until we are reunited with you at the Lord's appearing.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7

May she rejoice in the Lord and have eternal peace in His presence, embraced by the love of the Messiah and Lord she so faithfully served.  Glory to God alone!
