Kendra Renee Vire was born to the late Kenneth A and Artrice (Jean) Vire on May 20th, 1969 Kendra passed away peacefully on July 5th 2021. She was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Corcoran High. She was also long time resident of Rochester, NY. Where she perused a college degree and worked at Kodak. She returned to Syracuse and raised Two Sons. Kendra was a selfless person in her personal and professional life. She dedicated herself as a direct care support staff at Toomey Residential for over 18 years. She was preceded in death by her, grandparents; best friend, Sonia Hawkins; and a second mother, Irma Berry She leaves to mourn and to cherish her memory, her two sons Ian K Vire and Jordan C Hawkins; of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren Sinai Vire and one unborn; five brothers, Kim, Albert, Brian, Daniel (Butter) all of Syracuse, NY, and their wives, Vanessa, Semaj, Sherry (Faye) Shawn of Brockton, MA (The Vire Boys) Sister, Christine Ellis of Jacksonville, FL. And husband Willie. A host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephew and cousins. Special mentions to Grandma Fannie (proceeded in death) Aunt Bee, and Cousin Tasha. All of who played a major roll in Kendra’s life. Calling Hour will be Monday, July, 12, 2021 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at A. Dewit Memorial Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1PM at the funeral home.
