December 17th, 1951 - June 8th, 2018
Kenneth Michael Blaylock, Sr. “Mike”, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday June 8, 2018 at his home in Stokesdale, North Carolina. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel in Kernersville, North Carolina from 2:00-4:00 pm. Mike was born December 17, 1951 to the late Thomas Marion Blaylock, Jr. and Lena Marshall Blaylock. He graduated from Northwest Guilford High School in 1970. Before his retirement, he was a proud and successful business owner of Tar Heel Power Systems, Inc. serving his community as a Master Electrician. After retirement, Mike found his happy place, living the dream on the wonderful east coast of North Carolina. Some of his greatest joys were fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson, and his family, especially his grand children. Mike is survived by his daughters; Gennifer Blaylock and Susanne Turlington, his son Kenneth Michael Blaylock, Jr.; grandsons, Austin Pearce and Mason Turlington; siblings, Charles “Pete” Blaylock, Lannie Blaylock, Cheryl Standifer, Tony Blaylock, Keith Blaylock, Butch Blaylock, Terri Burton, Sue Blaylock and many extended family and friends.
