Connor, Kenneth E., 81, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday August 9, 2006 at home under the care of Hospice. He came here in 1997 from his native Newburyport, Massachusetts. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during WWII. He retired from the Federal Government as a Ships Rigger. He was a member of the Congregationalist Church, the St. Johns Masonic Lodge, in Newburyport, Mass., the Aleppo Temple Shriners, the Scottish Rite, 32nd Degree Mason, the DAV, the VFW and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jean K.; two sons: Bruce Edward Connor, Newburyport, Mass.; and David Scott Connor, Southborough, Mass.; and six grandchildren.
