Our beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, K.C. passed away November 25, 2019, following a traffic accident as he was driving from Boise to his loved job in the Craig Mountain Forest Protection District in Craigmont, Idaho. There will be a Memorial Service starting at 2:00 at the Wildland Firefighter Foundation located in Boise – 2049 Airport Way. A viewing is available from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m.. Casket signing from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for those who would like to write a message to send with K.C. on his Last Roll. Following the service, there will be a procession to Dry Creek Cemetery where K.C. will be laid to rest next to his Grandfather “PaPa.” Additionally, there will be a Celebration of Life back at the Wildland Firefighter Foundation following the burial at Dry Creek. Our family cannot express how appreciative we are for the support which has been shown by the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. They are opening their warehouse and providing cover for our family, firefighter family, and friends. Knowing it will be a very cold day for those attending, please dress accordingly. During this season of Thanksgiving, we are truly thankful and grateful for the love and support from the IDL family, the wildland firefighter community, and our friends and families during these most difficult times. It means more to us than you will ever know. Please tell your family members how much you love them and give them an extra hug, Ken, Terry, Kylie, Grandma Fourtner, Grandma and Grandpa Smith, and Teresa (Girlfriend) In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.
