Kenneth James Franzen was born in Woodrich, North Dakota on October 12, 1917 and passed in Hillsboro, Oregon August 20, 2013 of natural causes. Kenneth is survived by his spouse Bess A. Franzen; Sons, Michael O. Franzen (Veronica) Jerry Franzen, Patrick L. Franzen (Rene), Randal P. Franzen; daughter Kimberly A. Bodley along with 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Kenneth served in the Civilian Conservation Corps inn 1936 and lived in Oregon for 16 years, Montana for 56 years and North Dakota for 24 years. A memorial service will be held on September 7, 2013 at 2:30 PM at the Hillsboro Elks Lodge # 1862. 21865 NW Quatama Rd. Hillsboro, OR 97123.
