Kenneth L. Fry

Mt.Pleasant, SC. After a courageous battle against cancer, Kenneth L. Fry, III died on April 8, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Mindy Gordon Fry, son, Kenneth L. IV, and daughter, Hollis Isabel to whom he was deeply devoted. Also surviving are his parents Kenneth L. Fry, Jr, Barbara Fry, sisters Terri Kaplan (Brent), Stephanie Barnard (Scott), Nancy Steen (Ken) and Lisa Ewing (Hunter) and fourteen nieces and nephews. Ken was born in Columbus, GA., on August 20, 1968. The family moved to Atlanta in 1971. He attended Christ the King School and Woodward Academy before graduating from Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Wilbraham, MA. He received a BS degree from American International College, Springfield, MA. in 1992. Ken loved to cook, having grown up watching his Mother, Grandmother and sisters in the kitchen. After college, he entered the restaurant business and moved to Charleston, SC. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, Ken started Costal Insurance, building it into a successful business with three locations. Ken’s greatest joy was combining his love of family and friends with his passions for boating, fishing or preparing a delicious meal. His warm smile and generous spirit will be missed and lovingly remembered. A celebration of his life will be held in Atlanta, Ga on May 7th, 2016.
