Kenneth Gogle One can only imagine the bit of commotion that ensued at the Pearly Gates as Heaven welcomed a new angel, Kenneth Lewis Gogle of Tucson, AZ, on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Born February 18, 1929, in Gurdon, AR, Kenneth will remain in the hearts of his family: His wife, Connie Gogle; daughters, Dina Hansford (Ray), Jo Miller, Lisa Suarez (Martin), Kendra Elrod (Jeff), and Kelly Barleycorn (Trevor). He was proud stepfather to Teresa Skiba (John), James Hathaway (Kathy), and Terrell Hathaway (preceded in death). Cherished by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, he also dearly loved the four sisters he leaves behind. Kenneth's great love of family (his "People") and feisty personality made for plentiful and very entertaining family gatherings and reunions. He enjoyed a colorful and accomplished career starting with Gogle and Gogle Drilling Co., then as a member of Arizona Pipe Trades Local 741 where he worked several years on the Alaskan Pipeline, among other assignments. Wagering on a round of golf with Ken required careful consideration as his mastery of the game led to three holes in one! His zest for life, determined spirit, and audacious battle with cancer, earned him the nickname "Superman." A celebration of Kenneth Gogle's life will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2014, 1:30 p.m. at Adair Funeral Home, 8090 N. Northern Avenue, Oro Valley, AZ 85704.
