Kenneth Edward Hill
June 11th, 1950 - February 21st, 2023
Kenneth Edward Hill, age 72, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness early Tuesday morning, February 21, 2023. Kenny was born in Kinston, NC on June 11, 1950. He was a loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, stepdad and friend to all. Kenny is preceded in death by his father, Lois Edward Hill and mother, Marilyn Williams Hill. Kenny is survived by his wife, Kelley Martin Hill, his sisters Janet Hill Brennan (Malcolm) and Rhonda Hill Force (Greg). Kenny is also survived by stepson Josh Aydlette, nieces Melissa Force DeAngelis (Stefano), Caitlin Brennan (George Bates), Colleen Brennan (Sean Bullock), and nephews Kyle Force and Sean Force, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kenny is a graduate of St. Andrews High School in Charleston, SC, and attended the College of Charleston following his service in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany. Kenny was an avid surfer, sailor, kayaker, who loved any and all water sports. He is remembered for his keen sense of humor and love of music and fascination with stories and obscure facts. Kenny could take on any task with confidence, skill and perseverance. Throughout his illness, Kenny maintained a positive attitude, maximum effort, and faith. He will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Folly Beach at a later date. In honor of Kenny's memory donations may be sent to: http://WWW.Surfershealing.org.
