Kenneth Isenhower
July 25th, 1945 - July 2nd, 2009
KENNETH F. ISENHOWER On July 2, 2009, Kenny Isenhower lost his brief, but courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Born July 25, 1945, he would have turned 64 this year. Although he was born and raised in California, he later moved to Washington. He lived in Olympia and later settled in Aberdeen with Brenda his domestic partner of seven years. He was an accomplished sign painter/graphic artist by trade. He was the proud owner of his own sign shop “ProArt Signs” of Aberdeen. Many signs in California and in WA were created by him. He was also a talented artist and an accomplished self- taught photographer. He served in the Army as a Paratrooper stationed in Germany. Kenny was one of 9 children born to Kenneth E. Isenhower and Leona (Addy) Isenhower. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Sandra and Kathy. He is survived by 6 siblings (in order of birth) Spencer Isenhower and wife Deanna, Ronnie Isenhower, Linda Johnson, Susan Kingsbury, Dwight Isenhower and wife Brenda, Rhonda Craggs and husband Thurlow. He was the proud father of two children, Christian Isenhower and Stephanie Shaw by Tara Meyer. He has three grandchildren, Alexzander Isenhower, Tabitha Shaw and Summer Shaw. He loved being with them all and especially loved going fishing with Christian and Alexzander. He was blessed with more than a dozen nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was a truly caring person who was loved and respected by all who knew him. If you were fortunate enough to have known him then your life was forever touched. He will be greatly missed and remain forever in our hearts and minds! He was also, for all of his life, a passionate dog owner . Jake was his closest companion who will sadly miss his walks on the beach, naps on the couch and days in his chair at the sign shop. The ‘circle truly is broken’ …with his passing. Please help us enjoy his memory by signing the "Guest Book" below to share your thoughts and special memories of him with all of us. In these memories he will live on with us forever.
