Kenneth E. LaVoie

Kenneth E. LaVoie, 60 of Van Epps Road in Fultonville passed away, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. He was born in Amsterdam, NY, on November 28, 1952, the son of the late Jack and Marilyn Vickerson LaVoie. Ken is a life time resident of the area and attended local school. He was formerly employed by Anderson Instruments in Glen, NY. Ken enjoyed doing yard work and spending time in his "Shed". His family and friends meant the most to him in life. Survivors include his loving wife whom he wed on May 23, 1992, Laurie A. RoseLaVoie, sons, Kenny M. LaVoie of Fultonville, Michael B. LaVoie Melissa of Fonda, daughters Samantha BlackwoodRay, Jr. of Fultonville and Katie M. LaVoie of Fultonville; grandchildren, Kenneth M. LaVoie, Jr., Zachary LaVoie, Kodi LaVoie, Michael LaVoie, Jr., McKayla LaVoie, Hunter Anderson and Jack Blackwood. He is also survived by a brother, Jim Reynolds Kate of Fonda, a sister Linda Cleary James of Northville along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken is predeceased by his beloved son, Matthew C. LaVoie and brothers, Jack, Michael, David and Neil LaVoie. A celebration of his life will take place privately at the convenience of his family.
