January 9th, 1933 - June 17th, 2016
MYERS, Kenneth R., 83, of Wesley Chapel passed away Friday, June 17, 2016. He was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Florida from Pennsylvania in 1956. A graduate of Allentown High School in Pennsylvania, Kenneth also served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He worked and retired after 37 years from John Hancock Insurance Company; then worked and retired after 20 years from Barr Hameroff Insurance Company. Kenneth was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Joan; son Kenneth “Scott” Myers and wife Victoria; two grandchildren, Andrew and Zachary. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday June 24, 2016 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Words of comfort may be expressed for Kenneth’s family by clicking “Share a Memory”.
