Kenneth Olson

Kenneth "Oscar” Olson, 64, of Eaton, passed away with his family at his side, November 3, 2019, after a brief battle with cancer. A gentler soul, you’d be hard pressed to find. Oscar was born in Helena, Montana to Oscar & Helen (Dahlhausen) Olson October 22, 1955. He attended school in Helena and Great Falls, Montana. He worked in the oilfields in Idaho and Colorado. Oscar became a long time resident of Eaton, CO. He lovingly raised his daughter Amber Lee Olson until her untimely death from complications resulting from an automobile accident in 2004. Amber had a son Koby Caine Olson and when he was thirteen months of age, Oscar took on the responsibility of raising his grandson. Koby was Oscar’s life and was the proudest papa ever to Koby. He is survived by his sisters, Debbie Parker of Payette, ID., Yvonne Martinez of Greeley, CO., and Juanita Olson of Kimberly ID., grandson Koby Caine Olson of Eaton, CO., nieces Mylyn Rodig of Castleford, ID., Michelle Olson of Twin falls, ID., nephew, Pete (Angie) Parker of Buhl, ID., two great nephews, Colby and Payton Rodig of Buhl, ID., and a large loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar & Helen (Dahlhausen) Olson; daughter Amber Lee Olson. He was also preceded by his brother- in-law Jules Martinez. No services planned at this time.
