Kenneth Michael Pent was born in San Francisco January 27, 1960 and died March 12, 2020. He is survived by his mother, Marie Pent, of Jackson, CA; brother Robert (Lynnel) Pent of Redwood City, CA; nephew Tony (Kera) Pent; Great Niece Lilliana; Great Nephew Theo; Niece Mia (Drew) Ryan; Great Nephew Duke; Great Niece Lyndyn, Niece Nina Pent; Brother Stephen (ex sister-in-law Pollie) Pent of Jackson, CA; Nephew Joseph (Naomi) Pent; Great Nephew Wilder; Nephew Nicholas (Jessica) Pent; Great Nieces Natalie and Alexandra; Nephew John Pent; Niece Teagan Pent; and also survived by his best friend Sharon Schoen. Ken was preceded in death by his father Robert Pent in 2007. A native of Belmont, CA, he graduated from Carlmont High School and attended College of Notre Dame. He graduated from Tante Marie Cooking School, San Francisco and was a chef at Square One Restaurant in San Francisco, the Shore Bird in Half Moon Bay, and the Italian American Social Club in San Francisco. He then opened a restaurant in Quincy, CA called Papa Joe’s. He went on to be the Facility Coordinator and Chef at East Bay Mud in Pardee, CA and from there he retired. Later, he worked for Amador County School District as a custodian at Pine Grove School. Ken loved fishing, gardening, and his animals. He enjoyed family vacations and travel. He was always there for all of us. He will be missed tremendously. A Vigil Service will be held at Daneri Mortuary Wednesday, March 18 at 6pm. A Funeral Mass is scheduled at St. Katherine Drexel Thursday, March 19 at 11am.
