POORMAN, Kenneth (Ken), 80, of Littleton, CO passed away on July 11, 2017. Ken was born in Bovina, CO on June 14, 1937 to Carl and Irene Poorman and resided in Limon Colorado until 1975 when his job with Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) took his family to the Denver area. Ken started with CDOT in April of 1956 at the age of 18, and fully retired in September, 1999. He loved his work and the lifelong friendships he made throughout his 43 year career. With fond memories, he also worked weekends for several years at Lohmeier†™s Standard Gas Station in Limon. Ken is preceded in Death by his parents Carl and Irene Poorman, brother Bob Poorman, and wife Janet Poorman. He is Survived by his 5 children and their families. Son Bill Poorman and wife Kerry, Daughters Kandice Poorman and Beth Barrera. Sons Jeffery Parker and wife Karen and Jason Parker and wife Angie. Ken has 11 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a special donation to St Jude†™s Children†™s Hospital or the Dumb Friends League is preferred.
