March 27th, 1936 - July 11th, 2021
Kenneth C. Rye March 27th, 1936 - Pierpont S.D. July 11th, 2021 – Lakewood CO. Ken, the youngest of three was born to Carl and Mable (Haugen) Rye and spent many years on the family farm. Ken also attended South Dakota State University, where he received a degree in Civil Engineering. His career consisted of stops at the Army Corps of Engineering, Michigan Dept. of Roads and the Federal Highway of Administration. Ken enjoyed traveling the U.S. in his motor homes, vacationing in special places and was an avid Denver Bronco Fan. Preceded in death by his son Scott Rye, sister Maxine (Art) Lapham, and sister Marion (Jack) Fish. He is survived by numerous family members and friends. His Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, the 1st of August, 2021 from 10:30am thru 1:30pm at the “Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park”. 26624 N. Turkey Creek Road, Evergreen CO. 80439 Casual Attire In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the “Muscular Dystrophy Association” (MDA.ORG) in Ken Rye’s name.
