Kenneth Francis Shaffer

Kenneth Francis Shaffer, 59, born August 10, 1950, entered into rest on December 20, 2009 at his home in Paradise, California. Kenneth worked as a chef for 20 plus years. His greatest enjoyment in life came from the time he spent with family and friends. On many occasions he would participate in activities such as swimming, shooting guns, playing pool, chess and horse shoes. His proudest accomplishment was being the father of his two sons. Kenneth leaves behind his beloved wife, Kathy Shaffer of Paradise; his mother, Verabell Shaffer of Woodland, Calif.; his children, Jason Shaffer of Chico and Esley and Stacey Shaffer of Magalia; his step-children, Terry and Heather Weber of Concow, Calif. and Shastina Blaylock; his four granddaughters, Kalista, Mailey and Alayna Shaffer and Julia Weber; his siblings, Duane and Nancy Shaffer of Deltona, FL and Bill and Linda Gilmour of Esparto, Calif., and many more extended family and friends. Kenneth will continue to live on in our hearts and memories by celebrating the life that he shared with us.
