Kerry Jaye Gansberg

Kerry Gansberg passed away August 7, 2019 in Olympia, Washington. His heart was too big… He was born July 12, 1965 to Willis and Maye Gansberg in Olympia, his home of 54 years. Kerry graduated from North Thurston High School in 1983 and from the Green River College in Auburn WA in 1985. He married Barbara Hepp on June 18, 1988 at Olympia’s Calvary Chapel, where they were members for over 30 years. Most recently they had been attending Grace Community Covenant. Professionally, Kerry was Technical Director at Calvary Chapel; and a recording engineer, producer, and drum instructor at Reflection Recording. He loved to play, teach, produce, record and worship his Lord with music, serving others, kayaking, snowmobiling, and making people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gansberg; daughters, Adalie “Addi” Gansberg and Elsie Gansberg; brothers, Dale Johnson and Billie Gansberg; and sisters, Cecie Johnson-Vatne and Marlisa Johnson. Services will be held September 8, 2019, 5:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Olympia, 919 Division St, Olympia, WA 98502.
