Kevin LeRoy O'Dell, 58, died May 12, 2015 at St. Anthony's Hospital, Lakewood Colorado. Kevin was born September 7, 1956 in Miami, Fl., then later moved to Denver and Kansas City before returning to the beautiful mountain views of Colorado. He was a carpenter by trade and had a lifelong successful career in construction. Kevin is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Haynie-Jones of Independence, Mo., son Michael O'Dell of Greenwood, Mo., and youngest son Daniel O'Dell, his sister Laura Balczarek, and two brothers Walter and Scott O'Dell. Also mourning his loss are a step-daughter, 13 grandchildren and extended family. Preceding Kevin in death were his parents Walter and LaDorna O'Dell. Kevin's corneas were donated with the hope of giving sight and a new lease on life to someone. No Formal Services are planned. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Samaritan House c/o Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Denver, 2301 Lawrence Street Denver, CO 80205.
