Kevin Plew
December 10th, 1964 - July 21st, 2024
Kevin was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Donn Plew and Linda Schneiderman. His younger brother and best friend, Kyle, was born in 1963, making life much more adventurous. Kevin grew up in Lake Chelan, Washington where he spent his time swimming at the Ranger Station with his buddies, playing sports, getting good grades, and never getting in trouble. The family moved to Boise, Idaho in 1975 and Kevin quickly found his place on the football team (All State in 1979), becoming the ASB president, and meeting his high school sweetheart, April, who he later married. He was always known for his sharp wit, debating skills, and trash talking on the football field. A natural born leader. Never skipped a beat. Kevin and April raised three wonderful kids together: Austin, Alex, and Ashley. Kevin wasn’t just a father, but a friend, coach, and fan. He captured their lives from behind his camera with so much joy. He always taught them to stay humble, be kind, and always spray the cologne in the air then walk through it. Pride exuded from him. Kevin dedicated himself to mastering his craft as a videographer, producer, and graphic designer at Idaho State Police and, later, his own company. He earned numerous awards for his creativity and dedication to his work. He was most proud of his 20 years of work for the Eagle High School Football Program. He selflessly poured so much of himself into his community. Kevin’s life was filled with sarcasm, jokes, fun facts, and the best song selections at karaoke night. The joy he radiated was infectious. There was always a good time to be had and great food to be eaten when Kevin was there. His generosity was unmatched, his dedication to Jesus was unwavering, and his love for his children was so deep. Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter cherished by his parents (Donn, Linda, and Diane), children (Austin, Alex, and Ashley) brother (Kyle - Darlene, Aubrey and Oliva), and grandchildren (Jedidiah, Ezekiel, Daisy, Ava, Nixon, Collins, and Grayson). Rest in Peace Kevin… Son, Brother, Dad, Uncle, Paga, Friend. Your legacy of love will live in our hearts forever.
