Kevin Peter Reynolds was born on Friday, March 13th, 1964, in the Panama Canal Zone to parents SFC (Retired) Harley Louis Reynolds and Patricia Marie Swift Reynolds. He passed away suddenly on July 22nd, 2024.

He is survived by his wife: Kimberly, his children: John, Katie, Joey, and Jenna, his siblings: Sherry, Kathy, Pat, Karen, Bob, Rose, and Michael, and his mother-in-law: Judy. Kevin was predeceased by his father, mother, father-in-law Chuck, and brother-in-law Kevin.

He married Kimberly on November 30th, 2002. Kevin attended Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and also enjoyed his time at Indiana University. A lifelong passion for photography led him to a career as a school photographer. He worked as a Territory Manager for Southern Arizona at Inter-state Studios for 30 years and he made every school, administrator, and student that he worked with feel loved and cared for.

Kevin was an avid fanatic of Indiana Hoosier basketball, 6-time Super Bowl Champions Pittsburgh Steelers, Notre Dame Football, and Army Football. He loved music and movies and would always be able to recite a movie quote, song lyric, or any piece of trivia you wanted to know. His cooking alter ego was “Casual K,” and his food was his love language. It brought joy to anyone, whether it be his barbeque sauce, ribs, chicken thighs, bean burgers, bacon steaks, biscuits and gravy, crepes, or so many other foods that he mastered as soon as he cooked them. He loved having a house full of people for poker games and parties.

A Christmas present in 2020 led him to a new, overriding, passionate love for disc golf. He could be found every morning and most afternoons at Rillito River Disc Golf Course. He loved inviting new people to disc golf, teaching them the sport, and meeting fellow disc golfers. His goal every time he threw a disc was to get an Ace. He won two tournaments, the Throwdown in Casa Grande in 2023 and the Veterans for Vets Tournament on February 17th, 2024. He had a PDGA rating of 865 and hit 11 Aces over his disc golf career.

Above everything, Kevin loved his family. He was the proudest father of his four kids and took every opportunity to tell them how much he loved them. He was the most devoted husband and loved his wife, Kimmy, with all of his heart. Kevin was a loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, confidant, cook, poker player, photographer, and disc golfer. His love will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.

The service will be held at East Lawn Cemetery on August 2nd, 2024 at 1:00pm. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Kevin Reynolds Memorial Fund.
